Privacy & your data.
Last updated June 2026.
Plain-English version: we collect the bare minimum to run your free AI-visibility audit and email you the result, we list every third-party service that ever touches your data, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time and we will.
Who we are
This AI-visibility audit is operated by Robert Prime, trading as MrPrime, registered in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@mrprime.co.uk. For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the data controller for personal data you submit through this site.
What we collect
- Your email address — to send you the link to your audit result and, if you tick the optional box, occasional AI-visibility tips. Nothing else.
- The product details you submit — the product name, brand, category, optional ASIN, and any competitor names you enter. This is public product information, used to build the questions we put to the AI engines.
- Your audit result — the scored output of the run, stored so your result link keeps working when you come back to it.
- Standard server logs — IP, user-agent, time of request. Held by Vercel for a short period for operational and abuse-prevention purposes.
Why we hold it (lawful basis)
- Legitimate interest — to run the free audit you requested, email you the result, and follow up about it as a business-to-business enquiry; plus limited use of server logs for security and abuse prevention.
- Consent — for the optional AI-visibility tips, but only if you ticked the box. You can withdraw it any time via the unsubscribe link in any such email.
Who else processes it
The services below process data on our behalf. Each has its own privacy policy linked. We have data processing agreements in place with these providers.
| Service | What it does | What it sees | Region |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | Runs the Claude engine and the simulated Amazon Rufus engine in the audit. | The audit prompts we build from the product, brand and category you submit (e.g. “what are the best wireless earbuds?”). Not your email. | United States |
| OpenAI | Runs the ChatGPT (GPT-4o) engine in the audit. | The same audit prompts. Not your email. | United States |
| Perplexity | Runs the Perplexity engine in the audit. | The same audit prompts. Not your email. | United States |
| Runs the Gemini engine in the audit. | The same audit prompts. Not your email. | United States / global | |
| scrape.do | Fetches your public Amazon product page — only if you supply an ASIN — so the report can read your live listing. | The ASIN or Amazon URL you provide. No personal data. | Global |
| Resend | Sends the email containing your audit result link. | Your email address; the time of the send. | United States |
| Vercel | Hosts the website and runs the application code. | Standard server logs (IP, user-agent, request path, response status). No application data is stored on Vercel beyond transient request handling. | United States / global edge |
| Neon | Provides the Postgres database that stores each audit run and the email it was requested from. | Your email; the product, brand, category, optional ASIN and competitor names you submit; the scored audit output. | United States / EU (region depends on project setup) |
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, transfers are covered by the standard contractual mechanisms each provider publishes in their own DPA.
How long we keep it
- Your audit run & the email it came from — kept so your result link keeps working and so we can follow up about your enquiry. Ask us to delete it (see below) at any time and we will.
- Marketing list — if you opted in, until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs — held by Vercel under their own short retention windows.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to its processing; receive a portable copy of it; and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mrprime.co.uk from the address you used. We will respond within 30 days. For deletion requests, we will remove your audit run(s) and the email on file, and take you off the marketing list if you were on it.
Cookies
The audit is a public tool — there is no login and no account. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies. If we ever add analytics, we will update this page and present a cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
Security
Each result lives at a long, unguessable link that only the person who ran the audit receives. Personal-data routes are excluded from search-engine indexing. We take reasonable technical measures consistent with running a one-person UK business.
If you believe you have found a security issue, email hello@mrprime.co.uk with the subject line “Security” and we will respond within 72 hours.
Children
The audit is intended for businesses and brands selling commercially. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
